We are looking for a full-time Manager, Content Strategy who will be responsible for assisting the daily management, coordination, and successful completion of the projects to meet time and cost objectives with respect to local sports programming, content creation and development in multiple markets.
Coordinates multiple projects; orchestrates meetings, researches, analyzes data, and compiles reports with input from executive team members. Works with moderate supervision/guidance and is accountable for individual results and impact on team.
This position is instrumental in the sports rights management and acquisition process for content that will be produced and/or exhibited on our local sports channels across the country. Successful previous experience in this area is required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
-Manages, researches, plans and executes for local sports group programming and content initiatives as well as group operational initiatives. Communicate and coordinate with TWC regions and various other departments to ensure all parties are kept current on the progress.
-Oversees and directs the content development and acquisition process for the local sports group including management of internal product offering, internal development as well as external partners including rights management.
-Leads the content contract timeline. Works with TWC legal and outside counsel to finalize and execute content acquisition deals and partnerships.
-Develop monthly status reports and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure that deliverables are on schedule and within specification and budget.
-Practice good judgment, discretion and confidentiality of sensitive information regarding sports group activities and facilitate effective workflow between operations and business teams.
-Create intricate spreadsheets, Word documents, and PowerPoint presentations.
-Manage programs, events, or conferences and demonstrate the ability to perform in these areas: scheduling, budgeting/cost control, office supervision and client relationship.
-Creates, manages and distributes project schedules, meeting agendas, minutes, action item lists and status reports; tracks project status on all project deliverables via follow-up to individual resources, as needed.
-Capacity to handle a heavy workload, while maintaining a strong work-ethic and high level of self-motivation.
-Work in conjunction with local sports leaders and other company management to determine the short and long range plans.
-Organize all special project planning and represent local sports in business transactions; maintain relationships with external parties.
-Perform all other duties as needed or assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
-Bachelors Degree or AA and equivalent experience.
-3 to 5 years of work experience, preferably in the sports or television industry.
-Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
-Strong ability to work as part of a team, demonstrate initiative and solve problems. independently without manager supervision.
