Essential Job Functions:

An internship is available with an opportunity to work alongside the IT Policy, Compliance and Remediation Management teams. IT Policy is responsible for maintaining policy and standards for the IT environment in response to changes in regulatory, industry and business requirements through working with IT professionals from across the company. IT Compliance works with internal and external audit agencies and participates in SOX, Payment Card Industry and Internal Audits. Remediation Management is responsible for tracking remediation efforts of external vulnerabilities and internal vulnerabilities as well as audit findings that are managed via the Archer system. This position would provide support to these three departments, and in turn, would provide the intern with an in-depth view into the function and formula of a major corporate IT operation.

- Must possess strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills

- Must have excellent customer service skills

- Excellent organizational skills are required

- Information Technology or Information Security aptitude and/or experience preferred

Assignments may focus on programming for assigned clients groups and across locations providing guidance on routine issues.

- May counsel employees concerning work-related problems and conduct termination interviews, providing feedback to management when appropriate.

-Oversees robust Internship program at assigned location of approximately 90 interns annually, 3x per year.

- Administer Exit Survey on all voluntary terminations. Facilitate all termination paperwork for voluntary and involuntary terminations.

- Participate in unemployment hearings of impacted employees within respective functional groups.

- Participate in team meetings within respective client groups. Educate assigned client groups regarding policy and procedure changes.

- Responsible for compiling data and HR metric reports for business leaders.

- Builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customers in an effort to better help assigned client groups meet their business needs.

-Partners with senior leadership to maintain employment contracts.

- Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems; receives instruction, guidance and direction from others.

- Maintains performance management and merit process within assigned client groups

- Provides employees direction on filing for leaves of absence including, Medical, FMLA and/or Worker's Compensation claims.

- Track and compile data regarding Worker's Compensation claims and modified work duty within assigned client groups.

- Professional responsible for routine client support and HR administration for assigned client groups.

- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience in advising and coaching through disciplinary actions, personnel decisions preferred.

- 2+ years of proven experience with serving senior level clients preferred

- MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. PeopleSoft or other HRIS experience preferred.

- Sense of urgency, and ability to delivery on commitments. Experience with company programs and policies, org development, labor relations, and performance improvement preferred.

- Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment required.

- Excellent organizational, and communication skills required.

- Must handle confidential matters with appropriate discretion.

- Valid driver's license and good driving record required.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree preferably in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience required.
